i have been staring at this for like ten minutes looking at all the little details
like how her fingers curl just a tiny bit after she looks
and the way the light changes on her dress

Fun fact about pixar: part of their design process when they’re putting together a movie, is that each movie presents new graphic challenges.
- Finding Nemo was all about water, how it moves, how it flows, and how objects and animals move in water.
- Cars was about reflections and hard surfaces. Car paint, chrome, rubber…even the dust was an exercise.
- Incredibles was clothing, and hair, believe it or not. They were really going trying to make all the fibers and textures believable.
There are so many people in this movie, that I’m assuming the goal was doing people and different body types really well. Also all the different fabrics poses a unique challenge.
But also, fuck me if that doesn’t look like real fabric.
If you’re looking for detail look at her stomach, she looks like she’s breathing. The charm moves on her neck.
When you’re thinking about really inappropriate things and suddenly you start to believe that people in the room can read your mind.
